Clyde North Police Station is a new facility constructed to serve VicPol’s operational needs. The building includes administration offices, custody cells, staff sleeping quarters, and various specialist areas.

The building’s mechanical services incorporate a modern and efficient HVAC design. The installation includes a four-pipe heat recovery chiller with associated chilled and heating hot water systems, multiple air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), and a comprehensive ducted air distribution network. Dedicated ventilation and exhaust systems serve specific zones such as the custody cells, toilets, kitchen, and high-security areas, featuring anti-ligature air terminals for safety. The facility also incorporates a Building Management System (BMS) that integrates control of all mechanical equipment, energy monitoring, and fire mode functions.
